Murad Ali Shah visited Karachi's Lyari area on Wednesday to take stock of the locality's situation when citizens protested over lack of water and hygiene. On the occasion, the Chief Minister of Sindh said that Those who would demonstrate good work would be given a pat on the back whereas others who did **t want to work had the option to leave. Speaking on the lack of cleanliness in the city, Murad said:- "The dirt and garbage from the city can**t be cleaned within a few days," he said. "The problem of lack of cleanliness in Karachi existed before I became the Chief Minister," he stated. Regarding the conditions of schools, Murad Ali Shah said that there were **t only ghost schools and ghost employees, but also ghost students. "We want to eliminate these ghosts," he said. He urged NGOs to work with government schools and said that a partnership program was there through which that could happen.
