JUI-S chief seeks drastic steps for security
**WSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq on Tuesday condemned the Quetta terrorist attack and urged the civil and military leadership to take drastic decisions for the security of people.
He was chairing a meeting of the executive council of JUI-S held in Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak.The Maulana said that terrorism had destroyed the peace of the entire region. He expressed deep concern over the deteriorating law and order situation. He said that the government should take drastic measures to overcome the challenges confronting the country. He said that the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), the spy agency of India, was being blamed for terrorism in Balochistan, which he termed a matter of grave concern. He said the civil and security establishment should take measures on an emergency basis to foil the conspiracies against the China-Pakistan Eco**mic Corridor (CPEC) project. Criticising the alleged mishandling of Afghan refugees issue by law enforcers, he said that an aggressive attitude and Afghans insulted at the hands of government officials would create hatred and was **t good for future relationship between the two countries and would undermine peace. He said that the JUI-S was in favour of dignified return of Afghan refugees to their country and asked the government to stop the police from unnecessary arrests of refugees.
