Police booked shopkeepers Muhammad Sajjad of Chak 129/EB, Muhammad Hanif of Fareednagar, Pakpattan, Abid Saleem of Bonga Hayat, Muhammad Ameen of Bonga Hayat, Shahid Waqas of Bonga Hayat, and Ali Raza of Bongga Hayyat. TWO MEDICAL STORE OWNERS BOOKED: The drug inspector Friday booked two clinics owners on charges of selling unauthorized medicines. DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: Police arrested drug peddlers and recovered liquor from their possession on Friday. Police arrested accused Muhammad Ashraf of Chak 166/SP with 4 litre liquor, accused Muhammad Aslam of Bonga Hayat with 120 gram charas, accused Allah Ditta of Bonga Hayat with 108 gram charas, accused Ameen of Bonga Hayat with 60 gram charas, and accused Sarwar of Malikpur with a pistol. Police have registered cases. SHOP BURGLED: Thieves burgled a shop on Friday. Thieves entered the shop of Shafqat Ali of Thana Bazaar, Arifwala, and stole cash and cell phones worth 125,800. Police have registered case. KITES RECOVERED: Police Friday arrested two shopkeepers and recovered kites and twine balls from their possession. Police arrested Muhammad Hassan and recovered 45 kites and a twine ball from his possession. The police also arrested shopkeeper Iqbal of Chak 59/EB and recovered 18 kites and five twine balls.
