ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said during the SAARC interior ministers conference that there existed a difference between terrorism and struggling for freedom.
In an apparent reference to the Kashmir atrocities being committed by the Indian authorities, Nisar said that subjecting in**cent children and civilians to torture and assault came under the ambit of terrorism.
He also said that six decades of allegations have produced **thing of substance. It is high time that productive talks and negotiations be conducted to resolve disputes.
India's Interior Minister Rajnath Singh also arrived in Islamabad to attend the SAARC interior ministers conference. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had also participated in the conference earlier and had urged members of the SAARC platform to combat the challenges faced by the region together.
