Wife allegedly burns her husband to death
New Karachi: A 37-year old man was burned alive by his Wife on Thursday, in Bilal Town.
According to police, deceased Muhammad Suhail, who lived in FB area block 16, went to meet his Wife in order to resolve a dispute when his wife, along with her family, allegedly set him ablaze by throwing dousing him with petrol and then burning him alive at her house in Bilal Town, New Karachi. Suhail’s sister said that the couple was married for 15 years and had four daughters together yet his Wife used to fight with him a lot on mi**r issues. "This time when she left her husband’s home and went to her mother’s place, Suhail went there in order to reconcile with her and meet his children when this incident occurred," she said. In a statement given by Suhail’s wife, Suhail was mentally ill and used to beat her up and torture her. According to her, he was the one who set himself on fire. She said he lit himself on fire, after dousing himself with petrol. A case has been registered in which five people have been named.
