Students beating case: Teacher sent to jail in Chitral
CHITRAL: The principal of a private school, who was arrested a day earlier for beating Students in the Drosh Tehsil, was sent to jail on judicial remand on Wednesday. The police arrested the principal of the Learners School, Inamul Kabir, when a video of his thrashing Students went viral on Tuesday.
District Education ******r Hanifullah sealed the Learners School where the Students were thrashed and asked the authorities to cancel the registration of the institution. The administration registered cases against the accused under the child protection act. The Education department constituted a committee comprising District Education ******r Hanifullah and Principal Sentential Model High School and directed them to submit a report within a week. Meanwhile, Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Bibi Fauzia condemned the beating of Students and directed the DEO to cancel the **n-objection certificate of the school.
