SINGAPORE — After nearly 10 years since the last Harry Potter book, Potterheads in Asia finally get to dust off their wands and cauldrons.

The highly anticipated play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which reimagines "the boy who lived" as an adult launched in bookstores across the world on Sunday morning.

The book launch was timed to coincide with the play's premiere in London and Harry Potter's fictional birthday, which falls on July 31.
