And if people in the tech industry need this much help buying a home, it's hard to fathom how difficult it must be for everyone else.* "Basically what this does is add more competition to an already stressed housing market," said Peter Cohen, the co-director of San Francisco's Council of Community Housing Organizations, an affordable housing group.
