US authorities lift curbs on Turkey flights
WASHINGTON: US aviation officials on Monday lifted all restrictions on flights to Turkey, which had been imposed amid the uncertainty surrounding last week´s failed coup attempt.
The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement that it had "lifted all restrictions on flights to and from Turkey at 1:45 pm EDT (1745 GMT)." The United States was among several nations to suspend air travel to Turkey in the immediate aftermath of the failed putsch. The FAA issued a **tice Saturday prohibiting all US commercial and private aircraft from operating into or out of any airport in Turkey.
