PML-N govt free from corruption, says Shahbaz
Addresses UCs chairmen, vice-chairmen
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said those people are very lucky who are provided opportunity of public service by Allah Almighty. He said local bodies are of paramount importance for democratic system and a best source of completion of the obligation of public service at local level. He was addressing a meeting of chairmen and vice-chairmen of union councils at Model Town on Sunday. According to a handout issued Sunday, the chief minister said that Pakistan Muslim League-N achieved a record success in local government elections and people expressed their full confidence in the leadership of PML-N. He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the country is moving speedily towards the goal of progress, prosperity, peace and light. He said PML-N government has made high standard, transparency and speed its hallmark. Shahbaz Sharif said the PML-N government is free from corruption and even opponents can**t raise finger against us. He said national resources of billions of rupees have been saved by ensuring high standard and transparency in development projects, which is unprecedented in the history of the country. He said round the clock work has been carried out for improving every sector during last three years and new records of public service will be set during next two years.The CM said that service to people through honesty and hard work is our mission.
