Sindh govt to continue cooperation with Rangers: Qaim
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday held a meeting to discuss the raid conducted by security forces in Larkana along with tensions persisting between the Rangers and Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Sial’s brother Tariq Sial.
According to a private TV channel, Rangers (Sindh) Director General (DG) Major General Bilal Akbar gave a briefing to the CM over the raid conducted in Larkana. General Bilal stated that the security forces conducted a raid in order to apprehend a culprit named Asad Kharal, further stating that Tariq Sial placed hurdles in the process. The DG Rangers stated that Kharal was the main culprit of the entire incident, adding that Kharal was wanted in a number of cases. He added that culprits behind the entire incident shall be presented in the court after they were arrested. The Sindh CM stated that the Rangers operation shall **t be affected as a result of the incident and assured the Sindh government’s utmost cooperation for the apprehension of the culprits.
