He promised to raise the matter on the floor of the Parliament while described the demands by MWM as very simple and in line with the Constitution. Shah was told that under the pretext of the National Action Plan, Shias were facing revengeful acts of the government. Leader of the Opposition expressed concern over misusing the National Action Plan to target Shia community, which he said was unacceptable to them. Leader of the Opposition asserted that it was responsibility of the state to equally treat all the citizens and that the incident of Parachinar should be probed with transparency along with other such incidents against Shias. He contended that in the name of National Action Plan, ** school of thought could be targeted. “The government support to any banned outfit or a political party is totally unacceptable,” Shah maintained. Shah said that persecution of Shia community was in ** way be allowed and tolerated. Thanking Shah for visit the hunger strike camp, Allama Nasir said that they were staging hunger strike and agitating peacefully for the last 62 days, but the rulers had shown complete indifference to them. “It appears as if there is ** government here,” he said. He urged for raising the MWM’s demands in the Parliament and also the government’s apathy towards the Shia community.
