From Our Correspondent PAKPATTAN: Four people sustained critical injuries in two incidents on Tuesday. Abdul Wakeel of Chak 19/SP was shot at and injured by accused Sadiq and his accomplices over a mi**r dispute. In the second incident, Muhammad Rafiq of Fazal Garh, his brother and wife were injured by accused Anwer over an old enmity. Police have registered cases. VALUABLES SNATCHED: Locals were robbed of valuables on Tuesday. Muhammad Sharif of Chak 143/EB was heading Chak 149/EB on a motorcycle when he reached near Chak 143/EB three robbers intercepted and snatched Rs 2,310,000. Jehanzeb Ali parked his motorcycle outside Children Park and entered the park, when he came back he found his motorcycle missing. Five thieves entered the house of Ghulam Fareed of Jewan Shah and stole cash. Police have registered cases. PO ESCAPES: A proclaimed Offender (PO) escaped with the help his accomplices. FAKE CHEQUES CASES: Police booked the accused on charges of issuing fake cheques. Accused Ghulam Murtaza purchased harvest machines worth Rs 250,000 from Shahzad of Qaboola Town and gave him Rs 100,000 cheque that bounced. Police have registered case. KITES RECOVERED: Police Tuesday arrested an accused and recovered kites from his possession. Police arrested Muhammad Suleman and recovered eight kites and stake money. Police have registered a case. Meanwhile, police raided a petrol station and arrested Nisar Ahmad and Ahmad, Ashiq Ali over poor security arrangements. Police have registered cases. BAKERY RAIDED: The AC Arifwala Tuesday raided a bakery at Burewala Chowk, Arifwala and found miserable conditions of cleanliness and two underage children were doing child labour there. Police have registered a case. DRUG PEDDLER HELD: Police arrested a drug peddler on Tuesday. Police arrested accused Sardar Ali of Bonga Hayat with four litres liquor.
