Edhi’s passing away termed national loss
From Our Correspondent NANKANA SAHIB: Several social and political figures Saturday expressed sorrow and grief over sad demise of Abdul Sattar Edhi and termed hit a national loss. PML-N youth wing leaders Sardar Mursaleen Dogar and Rana Tanvir Ahmad said Edhi was a towering personality who worked for humanity. Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee secretary general Sardar Gopal Singh Chawla said Edhi was a matchless social worker who would be remembered forever. Former MPA Rai Shah Jahan Bhatti said such people get born after centuries who become role model for others. PPP leaders Rana Ali Asghar, Chacha Aslam Bhutto and Tanvir Akhtar said Edhi was the pride of nation who worked for humanity. Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Ghufran Saleemi said the poor have lost their father. Drug peddler held From Our Correspondent NANKANA SAHIB: City police Saturday arrested a drug peddler at Housing Colony, Nankana. Reportedly, on a tip-off police raided and arrested Rai Zaheer Abbas and recovered a huge quantity of heroine from him. Allegedly, he remained a ringleader of an inter-district drug gang. أكثر...
