افتراضي Hurriyet leaders greet Muslims on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr

ISLAMABAD: All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyet leaders including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Shabbir Ahmed Shah have felicitated the Muslim Ummah on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar Wednesday asked the people of Kashmir to observe the festival with simplicity, reported KMS.

He appealed to the people **t to forget the victims of Indian state terrorism, including orphans and widows.

He called for peaceful demonstrations after Eid prayers against the continued detention of Kashmiri political prisoners, puppet authorities refusal to impose ban on sale of liquor, surveillance on Imams of mosques and harassment of Jammu Muslims.

He also condemned the arrest of over seventy youth by Indian police after attacking an Iftaar party held at Nawa mosque in Shopian town last evening.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in his Eid message said that the Kashmiris wouldobserve Eid ul Fitr this year with the firm belief that their sacrifices would eventually bear fruit and the day was **t far away when they would achieve their inalienable right to self determination.

Shabbir Ahmed Shah in an Eid message dis*****ed to the OIC SecretaryGeneral Iyad Amin Madani and ambassadors of Muslim countries in Indiaexpressed the hope that they would continue to support the Kashmiris in their just struggle.

Other Hurriyet leaders including Muhammad Yasin Malik, Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi Al Safvi, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Hakeem Abdul Rasheed, Yasmeen Raja, Bilal Siddiqui, Shabbir Ahmed, Dar Muhammad, Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi, Ghulam Nabi, War Muhammad, Farooq Rehmani, the Chairman of Lawyers Club, Advocate Babar Qadri and the Jamaat-e-Islami of the occupied territory in their statements also felicitated the Muslims across the world on this auspicious occasion.

They urged the Kashmiri people to celebrate the Eid with austerity and share its joys with the families of martyrs detainees and other victims of Indian state terrorism.
