William Shatner to beam in for 'Star Trek' at Comic-Con
It's hard to imagine a better source for*Star Trekarcana than William Shatner. The legendary actor (and frequent tweeter) is among the headliners appearing in some Star Trek-themed capacity at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, which will be filled-to-the gills with panels, merchandise and activations devoted to the nearly 50-year-old franchise.
Shatner, who played Captain James T. Kirk in the original 1966-69 ******, as well as a ****** of ******, will join Scott Bakula (Enterprise), Brent Spiner (Data, Star Trek: The Next Generation), Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine, Star Trek: Voyager) and Michael Dorn (Worf, Star Trek: TNG) on Saturday, July 23 at 2PM PST (Hall H) for a session titled*Star Trek: Celebrating 50 Years.*The panel will look back at a half century of the iconic sci-fi ****** through some of its key player.
