Supreme Court orders government to sack SSP South Karachi
KARACHI: The Supreme Court ordered the government on Monday to sack SSP South Farooq Ahmad Karachi with regard to the Owais Shah kidnapping matter.
According to details, during the proceedings for the Karachi law and order case, the Supreme Court ordered the government to sack SSP South Karachi. "If the government does **t take the decision, we will issue the order," commented the court. The Court asked SSP South when he became aware of the kidnapping of barrister Owais Ali Shah, to which he responded that he came to k**w about the incident at 07:15 pm. Justice Amir Hani stated that SSP South had helped the kidnappers owing to his criminal negligence. "When the SHO got to k**w (about the kidnapping) he said the agencies must be behind it," commented Justice Amir Hani.
