BAHAWALPUR: Jumatul Wida was observed with religious fervour throughout the division. Special prayers were offered for the solidarity and integrity of the country. Police had taken strict security measures to avoid any untoward incident in Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan and Bahawalnagar districts.
VEHARI: The faithful Friday observed Jumatul Wida with religious fervour. A large number of people offered Juma prayers in mosques and open places in the city. Big congregations were held at Baghwali Mosque and **ori Masjid.
Ulema highlighted the importance of the last Friday of Ramazan and special prayers were also offered for the solidarity of the country and unity of Ummah. TOBA TEK SINGH: Al-Quds Day was observed at Kamalia on Friday. The Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen, Shia Ulema Council and Imamia Students Organisation took out a rally from Shia Jamia Mosque up to TMA Chowk. The participants were chanting slogans against the Israeli atrocities on Palestinians.
