Imran Khan?s sister harassed by VVIP motorcade in Lahore
LAHORE: Dr Uzma Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, has reportedly been harassed by police officials escorting a VVIP motorcade in Lahore on Friday.
Dr Uzma told the media that she was going to attend Juma prayer in Gulberg area along with her children when a police vehicle deliberately tried head on collision with her car. “Upon inquiry, she was told that the VIP movement is underway and she could **t move along,” she said. She went on to claim that the protocol was belonged to Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. On the other hand, the Spokesman of Sharif Family clarified that Maryam Nawaz Sharif was still in Islamabad contrary to the allegations levelled by sister of Imran Khan. “The sister should **t tell lie like brother Imran Khan. She should learn to speak the truth. She should **t distort the facts,” the Spokesman said in a statement. He said Maryam Nawaz was on the nerves of the PTI leadership. Maryam Nawaz Sharif while responding about the incident took social media to clarify her position. "Feel sorry for Mr. Khan's sister. Was in Islamabad when I got the news.
