Main Punjab Nahi Jaongi to release in 2017
Riding high on the success of their last film, Jawani Phir Nahi Aani - that became one of the highest grossing films of all time - actor/producer Humayun Saeed and director Nadeem Baig have planned out a**ther collaboration, a film called Main Punjab Nahi Jaongi. A romantic comedy, the film will feature Saeed alongside Mah-e-Mir actress Iman Ali.
In a quick conversation with Instep on the sidelines of the trailer launch of the upcoming film Actor in Law, Saeed revealed that the film is expected to release sometime around March or April in 2017. As for the film’s story, he **ted that “it’s a simple love story”. “Basically it’s a cross-cultural film between Punjab and Karachi as the two, who fall in love with each other, belong to each of them,” Saeed elaborated further. When we asked him about the remaining cast, he **ted that the film will feature other actors such as Sohai Ali Abro, who will be playing a prominent role, and Sohail Ahmed. Written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, Main Punjab Nahi Jaongi is expected to go on floors next month. After having a prolific 2015, Saeed will continue to forge his own way ahead this year as well.
