Salman Khan refuses to apologize over offensive remarks
One of Indian’s cinema’s most popular stars and a man who seems invincible on the box ****** despite a string of lazy, inefficient masala films, Salman Khan, it seems, is as hypocritical as he is arrogant.
Having given an interview in which he compared women to “vices” like drinking and smoking and compared his training for boxer film Sultan to the suffering akin to that of a raped woman, Salman Khan is **w refusing to apologize for his horrifying remarks, perpetuating rape culture in broad daylight. Though his father Salim Khan apologized on his son’s behalf immediately after this episode became k**wn, Khan did **t tender a blanket apology and remains “defiant” – whatever on earth that means. Speaking on the sidelines of the IIFA weekend in Madrid where Bollywood stars descended for the weekend, Khan, while participating in a press conference on Thursday, reportedly said, “I k**w it has been a long evening, So I will make it short, quick.” When prompted by a woman in the audience to stay on, Khan, perhaps hinting on the controversy of his words, simply said, “I have to make it.
