LONDON: For some reason, people keep falling for obviously fake forwards on Whatsapp, Facebook and Twitter. These include random quotes often attributed to Ratan Tata, the belief that 60% scientists in NASA are Indians or that UNESCO had declared that the Indian national anthem had been voted the world’s best, reports DNA.
**w a**ther popular forward claims the UNESCO declared PM Modi as ‘the best PM of the world’. And it wasn’t just regular people who fell for it, even s**oker and billiards champion Pankaj Advani appeared to buy into the rumour.
He tweeted: “Congratulations @narendramodi sir for being declared the best PM in the world by @UNESCO #ProudIndian @PMOIndia. I k**w I got my facts wrong but this apparently gets more attention than when I win a WORLD TITLE!!” —Monitoring report
