Sabri?s murder case registered against unk**wn persons *

KARACHI: Sharifabad police on Friday registered murder case of prominent qawwal Amjad Sabri against unidentified persons.

The case was registered on the complaint of Azmat Sabri, the brother of slain Amjad Sabri.

Anti-terrorism provisions have been included in the case.

Sabri was shot dead on Wednesday when he was on his way to a private TV studio where he was scheduled to perform for a Ramazan show.

He was laid to rest in Paposhnagar graveyard in Nazimabad on Thursday where thousands attended the funeral prayer.
