Traders decry excessive power cuts in **wshera
**WSHERA: The Traders on Tuesday staged a protest against the unan**unced and excessive power outages in Ramazan and asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to implement his orders **t to carry out loadshedding in Sehr and Iftar timings.
They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the prolonged power outages and sending inflated bills to consumers by the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco). District president of Anjuman-i-Tajiran Ayaz Paracha, general secretary Saeed Bakhsh Paracha and others were leading the protesters.Later speaking at a press conference Ayaz Paracha said that up to 18-hour long loadshedding was being carried out in the district. He said the excessive power cuts had brought the routine life and business activities in the district to a virtual halt.They said that the Water and power Development Authority (Wapda) was carrying out loadshedding in Sehri, Iftari and Taraveeh despite the clear directives from the government **t to hold power cuts in these timings.
