Deepika launches **n-profil programme to assist doctors

Though Deepika Padukone has been making news for her debut Hollywood project, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage opposite Vin Diesel, her Bollywood roots are still intact. The actress, who stole the show in Homi Adajania’s Cocktail, is doing an item song for his upcoming film, Raabta.

According to Filmfare, Deepika has said yes to this special appearance in the film.The film titled Raabta will feature Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sa**n in lead roles and marks the directorial debut of Dinesh Vijan. Homi Adajania is co-directing the film. The song featuring Deepika, an item number, will be composed by Pritam and the shooting will take place in June.

In between film projects, Deepika, along with a dedicated team, is also doing her bit to create awareness about mental illness. After courageously opening up about her struggle with depression last year, the actress founded a **n-profit called The Live Love Laugh Foundation (TLLLF).

True to their word, TLLLF has launched a new programme called More Than Just Sad that aims to assist physicians to work effectively with those suffering from anxiety and depression.

“We believe the programme we have launched will assist them at the first level to
provide the right diag**sis and guidance to patients who could be struggling to cope with mental health issues including depression, stress and anxiety,” said Deepika, founder of TLLLF, in a statement.
