So-called freedom fight damaged Balochistan: Zehri
QUETTA: Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri on Wednesday said the So-called freedom fight misguided the youth and damaged the interests and development process in Balochistan.
He was addressing a ceremony, which was also attended by Commander Southern Command Lt-Gen Aamir Riaz, Balochistan Assembly Speaker Raheela Durrani, Chief Secretary Saifullah Chattha, provincial ministers, parliamentarians and senior civil and military officials. Zehri warned that ** one would be allowed to implement their nefarious designs in the province. He said the anti-Pakistan elements used youth and gave guns in their hands instead of pens.”Our educational institutions were destroyed by victimising teachers in targeted killings.” He said Balochistan was rich in natural resources and there was a need to utilise those by capacity building of youth through educational and professional training courses.He said Raheel Sharif would lay down the foundation stone of NIST in Quetta, adding that the incumbent government had introduced reforms in the Public Service Commission in order to ensure recruitment of candidates against vacant posts in government departments purely on merit. Zehri said the army, Frontier Corps, police and Levies Force played a remarkable role for restoration of peace in Balochistan.
