TAKHT BHAI: The teachers and other staff of the Working Folks Grammar School on Tuesday set up a hunger strike camp against the **n-payment of salaries for four months.
They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of demands. The protesters first gathered on the Mardan-Malakand road and blocked it for traffic.The protesting teachers and other employees later set up a protest camp outside the School in Takht Bhai.
Talking to reporters, Nasir Khattak and Sherzada said that they had **t received salaries for the last four months.They said their families were facing financial problems due to **n-payment of the salaries. They also demanded regularisation of services.Tehsil Nazim Mumtaz Khan and Assistant Commissioner Ashfaq Ahmad Khan visited the camp and held talks with the protesters.
