The beauty of this surprising — but **t in any way disappointing — death was that it gave the show an opportunity to further set itself apart from its big brother, The Walking Dead.*
This show made clear with this episode that it's more concerned with the bottom line — in this case, the characters on the boat and their mission to get to Baja — rather than using several episodes to fall into a meet a foe/prepare to fight a foe/fight the foe cycle. I had fully expected the gang to waste a whole episode on recon and get to k**w the residents of the Con**r-led community a little bit. I've never been happier to be wrong.
