MULTAN: Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen has demanded the PTI to immediately remove Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak over his failure to control the law and order situation and prevent the killings of in**cent Shia professionals.
Addressing a telephonic press conference on Friday, MWM Secretary General Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri said four Shia professionals were gunned down in a day, whichwas the result of the government’s failure and incompetency of law enforcement agencies. He said the killing of two lawyers and two educationists in Dera Ismail Khan had raised questions about the achievements of National Action Plan and operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Jafri said Khattak had failed in running the government affairs and curbing the law and order situation, as he asked the PTI central leadership to remove him from the ******. He said the fight against terrorism was failing to get the desired results because lack of stern action against facilitators. Only a few hired assassins could be arrested, which would **t be e**ugh to the bust terrorist networks, he added.
Jafri demanded the government to launch military operation across the country, if it was committed to eliminating terrorist networks. He asked Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif to launch an operation against terrorist networks, banned organisations and facilitators in all cities including Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar, Quetta and Karachi. He an**unced a black day on Friday against the killings of four Shias in Dera Ismail Khan.
