It features a hoopless end effector that keeps the visual field clearer for easier application of the clip and for removal of the device once the clip is deployed.

AtriCure obtained FDA clearance for the company’s AtriClip PRO2 Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Exclusion System. The tool is used to resect the LAA during the open procedures.
