CRPF at NIT Srinagar after campus unrest
The CRPF was on Tuesday night deployed at the NIT campus and Jammu and Kashmir government assured full security to the students from other states. Tension on the campus rose after some outstation students expressed a sense of insecurity and attempted to leave the campus, leading to a confrontation with police which resorted to lathicharge.
