Sensible German luxury carmaker Audi gave a rare glimpse at its wild side Wednesday morning at the New York Auto Show when it debuted a bright yellow convertible version of its 2017 R8 supercar. It's called the R8 Spyder and it might be the coolest thing to come out of Ingolstadt, Germany (Audi's hometown) since, well, ever.

Clearly, what separates the Spyder from the Coupe is its cloth soft-top. With a push of a button, the top folds away underneath the rear deck-lid in just 20 seconds.
