Leonard Nimoy's final art work will lead 'Star Trek' art exhibit

The late Leonard Nimoy, who spent nearly 50 years playing the Vulcan first ******r on the original Star Trek television ****** and in subsequent moves, has one more gift to share: a moving piece of photographic artwork that's going on display. The piece will be shown alongside 53 others in an exhibit called Star Trek: 50 Artists. 50 Years. The collection were curated by CBS Consumer Products, which owns the franchise. Along with acting, Nimoy was widely recognized for his skill as a photographer. This piece, which will be officially unveiled at the Michael J. Wolf Gallery in San Diego during this summer's San Diego Comic-Con, was created specifically for the Star Trek Art Exhibit. It depicts multiple images of Nimoy's own hand in the widely-recognized "Live Long and Prosper" salute. Read more...
