5 little kids wrote a book with Amish Tripathi
![]() ![]() ![]() Telling stories helps children develop language skills, foster a love of reading and*ignite their imaginations. It also encourages creativity and makes their days fun. That's exactly why Amish Tripathi, acclaimed author of the Shiva Triology, tried something new — and a little crazy. Tripathi gave five children the start of a great idea and then challenged each to transform that idea into a complete plot. The children submitted their own unique versions of the story, which were later distilled into one collective work. The project, called #Udaan, took place completely over the Internet — Amish Tripathi never even met his young writing partners — and is a testament to finding creativity in all shapes and sizes.
