'Spotlight' wins Best Picture, makes journalism the coolest thing ever
   LOS ANGELES — Stop the presses: Spotlight just scooped Best Picture. "This film gave a voice to survivors," writer/director Tom McCarthy said Sunday night in accepting the award for his film, which follows a dogged team of Boston Globe reporters who worked to expose *** abuse in the Catholic Church in the early '00s.
