Titan Medical Unveils SPORT Surgical Robotic System
  Titan Medical, a Toronto, Canada firm, has unveiled its SPORT (Single Port Orifice Robotic Tech**logy) Surgical robot, or at least the preview model before the first-in-human use devices are manufactured later this year. The device is similar to the da Vinci System from Intuitive Surgical in that it provides 3D visualization and intuitive finger controls, but is **t slated to be its direct competitor.The company believes it can offer Robotic tech**logy at a much reduced price compared to existing systems, though it is only intended for use via the body’s natural orifices.
