UAE?s Al Futtaim to build 3.4ha Auto Park in Dubai The UAE's Al-Futtaim Automotive Division has an**unced plans to open a 3.4ha Auto Park within Dubai Investments Park (DIP). In a statement to Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Monday, 21 September, 2015, the firm said the Auto Park will be operational by 2017, and showcase **table car brands, distributed by Al-Futtaim, including Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. The Auto Park will also include Al-Futtaim’s ALAC business, comprising tyres, batteries, workshop equipment, and body shop divisions. The multi-level showroom complex, which will span a total area of 3.4ha (34,466sqm), will be among one of the largest automobile parks in the region. Once ready, the Auto Park will offer a wide array of services including sales, service, repairs, car hire and spare parts sales, among others. The Auto Park will accommodate over 1,400 vehicles for sale, service, and stock inventory. Len Hunt, president of Al-Futtaim Automotive Division, said: “We are on the threshold of aggressive expansion in the UAE and the Auto Park in Dubai Investments Park is designed to meet the growing demands of customers in DIP, and neighbouring communities.
