WAM said on Saturday that the bodies of all those killed in the missile strike on an ammunitions depot have **w been repatriated to the UAE. The report said: “The arrival of bodies of all martyrs of the homeland completed today [Saturday] at the Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi, after their identification in the Saudi Arabia. “The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces an**unced that a total of 52 UAE soldiers were martyred last Friday in Yemen. A special military ceremony was held while receiving the bodies of the martyrs at the airport. “A number of senior Armed Forces ******rs attended the event.” Initially, the Death toll of UAE military personnel was reported as 45. It was reported that 22 soldiers, all of whom were part of the Saudi-led coalition ‘Restoring Hope’, were killed when a Houthi missile struck the depot. A further 23 died later as a result of their injuries. WAM did **t say whether the seven new fatalities died during the attack or afterwards. A three-day period of mourning was an**unced following the attack. UAE fighter jets have been striking Houthi rebel positions in the last week, including fresh assaults on Thursday and Friday.
