Charlie Hunnam is Giving serious American Horror Story Vibes in the pages of V Magazine's latest issue, which hits newsstands Sept. 17. The former Sons of Anarchy star didn't show off any of the sly smirks or funny facial expressions that we've seen in the past, but he did boast a scarily ***y look, going shirtless while clad in black pleather and wearing red paint on his face. In the accompanying interview, Charlie opened up about dropping out of the 50 Shades of Grey film shortly after being cast as Christian Grey. He called the move "the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing" that he's ever had to deal with and denied reports that his exit had anything to do with the explicit ***ual nature of the movie.
According to Charlie, saying goodbye to his Sons of Anarchy character, Jax Teller, was also a hard thing to do. "I *****d a few joints and sat on the back lots and cried a bunch and said goodbye to him," he said, adding, "It was beautiful and it was the right thing to do. I took my rings, my bike, my jacket, my knife - f*cking a lot. Anything that wasn't nailed down, I took."
