The 33-year-old singer told the audience at her Los Angeles concert on Wednesday night that she’s expecting her second child with husband Brandon Blackstock. But in an interview just months before, Kelly admitted she was feeling a bit apprehensive about further expanding her family. “I’m frightened to have a**ther one,” Kelly told People back in February. “I want a**ther one — like in a couple years.” Kelly is also stepmother to Brandon's two children. But she admits it’s River’s sweet nature and perfect personality that made her question whether or **t she was ready for a**ther child. “I’m just a little frightened because she’s so perfect,” Kelly added. “I feel like something horrible’s gonna come out of me. Because she’s so great — like, the yin to her yang. “But I won’t put that out there. I’m gonna project happiness.” Prior to an**uncing her pregnancy news, Kelly struggled to control her emotions as she introduced her song Piece By Piece. “I was totally **t planning on an**uncing this, but I’m pregnant. I’m having a really hard time,” she told the crowd at Los Angeles’ Staples Center before breaking down in tears. The song is dually an ode to her own father, as well as commending Brandon on being a good dad. “I’m gonna nail the sh*t out of this song. That was **t how I wanted to an**unce that … I hate this song right **w,” she joked as she wiped away tears. “My make-up artist is backstage hating me right **w. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk.”
