Samsung Galaxy Tab ?Pro? models coming in 2014?
Samsung reportedly plans to launch up to 4 new tablets in the next few months, including a low-cost “Lite” model, and possibly 3 high-end “Pro” tablets. According to SamMobile and MovePlayer, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro models will come with 8.4 inch, 10.1 inch, and 12.2 inch displays. The specs for the larger Pro tablets are expected to be similar to those for this year’s Samsung Galaxy **te 10.1 2014 Edition. That means we can expect the 10 and 12 inch models to feature 2560 x 1600 pixel displays, 3GB of RAM, and support for digital pen input. The tablets are expected to run Android 4.4 KitKat software. It’s possible that the new “Pro” label will apply to Samsung’s high-end tablets with S Pen support. Right **w these tablets are differentiated from cheaper “Galaxy Tab” models by the “Galaxy **te” label, but adding “Pro” to the name could make it more clear that these tablets are designed to offer more business and productivity functionality (and that Samsung will charge higher prices, accordingly).
