 Olympus released the new generation*Cyberwand lithotripter, the ShockPulse-SE, a dual-action System for breaking up*kidney, ureteral, and bladder stones. According to the company, this is the first device to deliver “ultrasonic and high frequency bursts of mechanical wave energies,” which hapens at the same time while suction is activated.*Olympus believes that the tech**logy allows for larger stones to be broken up faster and easier, while clearing out fragments more efficiently.
