What to Watch in the Day Ahead ? Thursday, June 4
The Labor Department issues weekly data for jobless claims. Initial jobless claims is expected to have dropped to 279,000 from 282,000 in the previous week. (0830/1230) The department will also issue data for revised labor costs for the first quarter, expected to have risen to 5.9 percent from 5.0 percent in the previous quarter.
