Julia Roberts made her 26th - yes, 26th - and final appearance on Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday, marking the moment and saying Goodbye to the host with a big smooch. The actress recalled her first time on the show promoting Mystic Pizza and explained why she'd been nervous, saying, "I had seen you absolutely dismember young actresses of my kind of peer group." Obviously things went well during that first appearance and the many after, so much so that the pair became k**wn for sharing kisses whenever Julia sat down for an interview.
For Wednesday's appearance, the show put together a montage of their sweetest moments over the years, and after they watched the clips, David stood up and brought Julia to the center of the stage for one last smooch. Before she left, Julia said, "I just want to say, David Letterman, I love you, and I thank you for all of the joy and the laughs and the intelligence you have brought to us for 33 years."
