Sam Lewis' Sophomore Album Waiting on You comes out on April 21, but we are premiering an in-studio performance video of "Texas," one of the songs off the new effort, here early, exclusively on Music Times. In 2008, Lewis released an acoustic collection called One's a Long Time, Two's a Fly By and moved to Nashville a year later to pursue his music career. While in Nashville, Lewis caught the attention of producer Matt Urmy, who helped produce his first album. Lewis' second Album comes three years after his eponymous debut, for which he received national acclaim. This second Album features contributions from many of Nashville's most popular musicians, including Mickey Raphael on harmonica, Gabe Dixon on keyboard, and The McCrary Sisters on backing vocals. Lewis hopes to become one of the great "truth-tellers and troubadours" like Hank Williams or John Prine.
