Leading duo Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe hit the red carpet and afterparty together, getting close while posing for pictures. As it turns out, Sam and Caitriona have a connection off set too. "We obviously Just had a really long period of time off the show, but we caught up a couple of times in LA and went hiking together," Sam told People at the event. For her part, Caitriona said they're "really good friends," adding, "We're both going through the same experience so that's great, we both really understand that. I hope I'm a good support as he is to me."
