U.S. allies strike 14 targets in Iraq, one in Syria
WASHINGTON, March 29 (Reuters) - Members of the U.S.-ledcoalition struck targets in Iraq and Syria overnight as part ofthe fight against Islamic State militants, according to a pressrelease from the combined joint task force. The attacks struck 14 targets in Iraq and one in Syria,including positions held by militants near the cities of Mosul,Tikrit and Fallujah. (Reporting by Howard Schneider; editing by Susan Thomas)
