Bahrain on Sunday jailed 11 people for 15 years each over an attack on a police station in a Shiite village that left four policemen wounded, the prosecutor's ****** said. The 12 were accused of taking part in an attack in October in the village of Aaly, near the capital Manama, during which petrol bombs were lobbed at a police station. A police car was also set on fire during the attack. Bahrain's BNA state news agency said the men were charged with "premeditated murder", possession of explosives and starting a fire "for terrorist purposes", as well as unlawful assembly.
