Bata (Equatorial Guinea), Jan 19 (IANS) Democratic Republic of Congo's first choice goalkeeper Robert Muteba Kidiaba said he is happy to be the oldest player to feature in the ongoing 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon). The experienced goalkeeper, who has also helped DR Congo's top side TP Mazembe win the CAF Champions League trophy before, said he is also eager to enter the history books by winning the Afcon trophy. DR Congo, who are in Group B alongside Zambia, Tunisia and Cape Verde Islands, have only won the Afcon trophy once in 1968. According to information provided by Confederation of African Football (CAF), out of the 368 players who are taking part in the 2015 Afcon which started in Equatorial Guinea Jan 17, only 26 are over 30 years.
