BBC Radio One's Essential Mix is one of the greatest platforms for DJs and electronic acts to showcase their music in the mixed music format. 2014 saw some outstanding mixes from the likes of Ten Walls, Bo**bo, Porter Robinson, Grum, Deep Dish and the Essential Mix of the year from Caribou. 2015 did **t let up one bit as 2013 Essential Mix of the year DJ Eric Prydz, ushered in the new year with the show's first back-to-back edition with his label mate Jeremy Olander.
